Commons and village greens advice

Suffolk County Council's Commons Registration Authority has 175 Village Greens and 220 areas of Common Land registered. You can find more information about common land and village greens at www.gov.uk/common-land-village-greens

How to inspect the Registers of Common Land and Village Greens

The current Registers of Common Land and Village Greens are held at Constantine House, Ipswich and are available for public inspection during office hours. Please contact the Commons Registration team for an appointment (details below). Landowner statements in relation to village greens are also available to view on the Suffolk County Council website here.

Copies of the Register are also available for a fee of £5 per Unit. Please contact the Commons Registration team with the details of which Unit/s you require.
